Lets get to work (photo courtesy of Svenja)

This past trail day was a success and would like to thank all the volunteers who cameĀ out to help revive parts of Dana Peak park. The day turned out to be a beautiful day for trail work. With the help of some amazing people we were able to remove large trees that were obstructing the trail around twin peaks. We removed dangerous vines that could have resulted in serious injury if someone would have crashed in the area. We improved the line of sight in both directions so that people enjoying the trail can see what is coming. Again thanks to all the volunteers that helped on this beautiful Sunday to revive Dana Peak park. There will be more trail days in the future at least every month so be on the look out.

We were able to clean up and re-route parts of the trail known as Auntie Rob. We also had a team that deconstructed the bridge on the fenceline trail to be installed in its original intended location. Again thanks to all the volunteers that helped on this rainy weekend to revive Dana Peak park. There will be more trail days in the future be on the look out.
